Introduce
The Muse of Love-Grown Is an interactive digital experience developed by MIRROR in collaboration with Dốc Mộng Mơ for the HER Concert - a music event celebrating the emotional depth, resilience, and intrinsic value of women on International Women’s Day.
Positioned at the intersection of branding, interaction design, and emotional storytelling, the project invites participants into the Love-Grown universe - a conceptual space where emotions are cultivated, illuminated, and transformed into personal expressions. Through this experience, users are not merely audiences, but co-creators: selecting their own “note of light,” shaping their identity, and contributing to a collective symphony that embodies shared emotional resonance.
Our Challenge
Operating as MIRROR’s creative team, we were tasked with conceptualizing and executing a fully interactive web experience within an intensive two-week production timeline.
The brief demanded more than a conventional campaign website. It required a digital platform that could encapsulate the spirit of International Women’s Day - emotionally engaging, aesthetically refined, and participatory by design. The challenge lay in balancing speed with depth: crafting a cohesive narrative, designing an intuitive interaction flow, and ensuring technical feasibility, all while maintaining the brand’s high standard of visual and conceptual sophistication.
The Light Note
At the core of the experience lies the concept of the “Light Note” - a symbolic unit representing individual emotion and identity within the collective composition.
Each participant is invited to select a unique light note, defined by the shape of a diamond - MIRROR’s core material language. This act of selection is both personal and performative: a micro-decision that embeds the user into the larger narrative of The Muse of Love-Grown.
As each note accumulates, it contributes to a living composition - a metaphorical symphony where individual presence becomes part of a shared, evolving artwork.
Avatar Customization
Building upon the selected diamond form, the system generates a personalized avatar through a controlled framework. To ensure both uniqueness and visual coherence at scale, we developed a modular asset system consisting of multiple variations for each visual element - including gemstone forms, lighting conditions, gradients, and background compositions.
These elements are algorithmically combined using probabilistic logic, resulting in over 10,000 possible unique outputs.
Crucially, the system is governed by strict design constraints. Parameters of composition, color harmony, and light behavior were carefully calibrated to maintain consistency with MIRROR’s aesthetic language. This ensures that every generated avatar, while distinct, remains visually authentic, contextually relevant, and aligned with the overarching narrative of refinement and emotional clarity.
Outcomes
Joined cross-functional coordination across a team of 3 designers and 3 developers within a strict 2-week production sprint. Delivered a modular avatar generation system producing 10,000+ unique outputs while maintaining full visual and brand consistency - a design constraint I established and enforced throughout development. The experience sharpened my ability to define design logic that holds under technical pressure: every visual decision had to be translatable into code, and every interaction had to serve the emotional narrative of the project, not just look good on screen.
